What the heck is a lunch crunch? (FAQ)

For many artists spending an hour here or there to sketch, scribble or make advances on a long term personal project is pretty fun. Well, if you're such a person, and not too shy to post your lunch time (or whatever time) musings, then this is the spot for you. The only two rules are:
A:  we want to keep things to about an hour or 2 per session.
B: No professional work without the consent of your employer etc.

So, what kind of artwork is suitable to be posted?  Well, anything really.  2D, 3D, digital or traditional media.  Heck, some friends have asked about posting recorded music from lunchtime jam sessions!  Also, some folks are posting tutorials which is ALWAYS appreciated.  So, if you have knowledge to share with the rest of, by all means do so! :-)

Are there ever any themes or contests?  In a word, nope.  There are some great destinations on the web right now that have contests and themed threads (cghub, cg feedback, CG Talk, Polycount, Conceptart.org,  zbrushcentral, and the area, to name a few) but above all, this should be a place that is just flat out about fun.  BUT, if some folks wanted to get together and do some anatomy studies, or cartoon characters, or whatever, that's cool too.  It just wont be a sanctioned "theme" for everyone so other folks who choose not participate can pursue whatever subject matter they wish.

How often do I have to post?  If you post just once, or every day, that's up to you.  There's no limit or minimum.  It's all about when you have time and energy to make something you want to share.  Above all, it should be fun (and hopefully educational) to make to make things you share here.

Who can sign up for lunch crunch?  Anyone willing to create and share their art. If you'd like to join us, please send an email here.
